About Clarity

A design systems conference

Bringing our community together since 2016.

At Clarity, design systems practitioners come together to share and learn from each other through two days of talks, one day of workshops, and countless time with our community in-between. As our field continues to evolve, Clarity is a chance to collaborate on what’s new, what’s changing, and what’s got us all excited.

Jina Anne, a design systems advocate and practitioner, founded Clarity in 2014 and hosted the first Clarity conference in 2016, which has since continued to grow in both programming and attendance. Recognizing that the design systems practice provides tools and standards to scale across a changing digital landscape, but that real success comes when people align around a shared vision and language, Clarity aims to provide just that—in what we do and how we do it.

Clarity Programming

  • Inclusion
  • Empathy
  • Technology
  • Creativity
  • Collaboration

Centered around our principles of inclusion, empathy, technology, creativity, and collaboration, Clarity’s conference programming is chosen and produced with the larger community in mind. So we balance content across technical, design, conceptual, and workflow practices to provide the whole picture of what we do, inspiring people to apply things they’ve learned into their practice, and get people working better together.
