Ayesha is a Design Technologist working across design and engineering teams to create accessible, scalable interfaces through design systems and React component libraries. She’s currently working on the Gestalt design system at Pinterest, while collaborating across the organization to create accessible experiences for everyone through onboarding sessions, accessible components, and updated documentation and tooling. Ayesha enjoys mentoring students to help empower people from all backgrounds to succeed in the tech industry, and is also part of the W3C Design Tokens Community Group. Outside of the design systems world, Ayesha loves traveling with her fiancé (and dog Pepper) and trying as many new foods as possible along the way.
