Diana leads a team of designers and engineers at GitHub called Design Infrastructure. Over the past 5+ years her team has developed GitHub’s design system, Primer, from CSS framework to React and Rails component libraries; and reshaped GitHub’s UX through redesigning the repository homepage, incrementally responsifying desktop layouts, refreshing the visual design, and delivering one of GitHub’s most highly requested features—dark mode.
Diana likes to give back to the design systems community by speaking at conferences like Clarity, occasionally writing articles and books, and when it’s safe to hang out in person, organizing meetups like the NYC chapter of the Design Systems Coalition.
